2012 Iroquois Cup Winner
_____________
The Iroquois Cup is an AAPL only cup that is played towards the end of the regularseason. The Iroquois Cup was last played in 2004 and is now being reborn for 2011.
The Iroquois Cup is a single-elimination, goals-only cup.
The top 8 teams in the AAPL (based on overall goals) a week before the cup starts will be seeded 1-8. The other 16 teams will be randomly drawn into the bracket and the winners will face the top 8 teams in the quarterfinals. The bracket will be locked in after the random draw and the matchups are final.
The Iroquois Cup will begin on MFLS Week 26 and the Final will be on MFLS Week 31. The top 8 seeds will be placed into the bracket at the conclusion of MFLS Week 24 and the random draw for the remaining 16 teams will take place on TBD.
Each match will be one week in length. The teams with the highest number of goals (both regular goals and PKs) will move on to the next round.
The tiebreakers are as follows: (1) Most regular goals (not PK's) (2) Most assists for the week (3) MFLS points for the week (4) Coin Toss
